Good Times

On Wednesday, we made longhouses and ate popcorn as an ending project for our study of the Powhatan Indians. We had over 40 children in our classroom decorating shoeboxes and helping each other. It was a great way to kick off the Thanksgiving holiday!

With only three weeks to go before the Christmas holidays begin, we will be busy studying Seasonal Changes and Magnets. We will also explore how other cultures celebrate the holidays (starting off with a surprise in our shoes by Germany's St. Nick!)
